THANKGIVING

I just wanted to take sometime to be greatful for all the good things in my life. First and for most I am greatful for my family and there health. A lot goes into this. Cody are 5 month old joined the family this year and we thought that after failing 2 hearing tested that we would have a deaf son but thanks to prayer being answered by a loving Father in Heaven he turned out just fine. He passed his last hearing test and we notice him responding to our voice like never before. Another thing that I am greatful for is that God still hears and answers prayer. I know this and it is great to watch our oldest son Nathan as he learns this for himself. I am thankful for the fact that we have elections in this country and even though I voted for McCain who didn't win, we have had not had riots or bombing or other crazy things in America. I am proud to an American and I thank all the people who have given this this right to me ( a little Lee Greenwood) For all the people who make sacrifices and give up things for America's freedom. People like my sisters Shari who let her husband John go off to Africa with the Navy and helped the people there even when she was pregnant and really could have used him here. The scarifies people like that make are a blessing to me and my family.
I am thankful for my husband and his great job. For the fact that he can work and is willing to do so. For the fact that he loves me with all of his heart. It is great to know that after 6 yrs of marriage and 9 yrs of dating (total time we have known each other) he still loves me and lets me be who I am. I am also thankful for my own job for the people that I see everyday and that I get to serve them. I am thankful for our ward and the friends we have there. For a calling that takes all my energy and a lot of effort. For teachers that love my children and teach them with all there hearts.

So as I sit down to watch a movie with all four of my boys remember to be glad for what you have and to work hard for the things that are worthy of having and that you need. That's all for now.

Change can be a good thing

So yesterday was my last day on old route and I thought it would be nice to bring in a cake. As i was baking my very famous chocolate cake my sister asked why I was making a cake for people that don't like me, (see I am the only Republican in our little corner and am not afraid to speak my mind) I told her that I was trying to be nice. I got up extra early to bake it in the morning so that it would still be warm and set off for the day. One of the carriers we will call him Fred because that is not his name. He was in the middle of his morning rant making fun of anyone and everyone when i handed him a piece of the best cake in the world and he took a bite and started to sputter. He looks at me and said, " I actually forgot what I was saying this is the best cake ever." It was very funny. I was starting to think to myself wow I should have brought a cake the first day then maybe things would have been different. Other people for our station that do like me all commented about how good it was and how they would miss me yada yada ya. The only other girl from my little corner we shall call her Missy because that is not her name either, actually said out loud what i had be thinking. She said had I brought a cake in, in the beginning it might have been different and they might have liked me better. I could not believe it. So there ended my days and the not liked very much station.

But good news I am very liked at my new station. And I did not even bring a cake (but i have in the past). My new station is smaller over all but more rural routes. I was kinda bummed about giving up a route in an area where I see lot of wildlife for my new route that is more city. But all went well, and while I was on my route I saw a moose calf and a moose cow it was pretty cool and seeing how it was in the middle of a neighborhood I got to see it more than once. Sorry my cell phone doesn't download to the computer so I don't have any pictures sorry. All in all a new day at a new route is way better than what I have been dealing with.

well I should go feed the fam so until next time

McBoy Town

Sometimes being the only girl in the family can be a lot of work. See I have three boys ages 5 (will be six in DEC.) and 3 and 5months. And then my hubby too. And sometimes it fills like they just create work. My husband and I both work full-time, my older sister watches our kids while we work. But when i come home from work it seems like everything is relying on me to get it done. My husband Jeff is really good about fixing cars and mowing lawns and tinkering with stuff and building stuff, but that doesn't help the day to day the cooking meals the doing dishes or laundry or cleaning the bathroom stuff. And believe me boys can make a huge mess in a bathroom. Especially when the 3 year old Benjamin is still learning how to aim.

I work for the United states postal service. I am a regular rural letter carrier. That means I drive my own car and I deliver mail to people outside of the city limits. As much as I love my job it can be hard on both me and the car. Jeff just replaced the rear end of my blazer over Halloween because it went bad. He great a stuff like that and saves us so much money. The route I am on now has it out for my car, I think its personal goal it to kill my rig. So I am getting off before it has a chance to seceded. So i will start a new route on the 22 of Nov. The crappie thing about it is that in exchange for shorter days I have to work Saturday's not much looking forward to that. But more time each day with my kids is really a good thing. I am hoping to be able to pick up my son Nathan from kindergarten most days.

My husband Jeff works for Freeborn Tool Company and has for 6yrs he started there right before we got married. He truly loves it. He has worked his way up from the bottom and is now their leading machinist. His company makes shaper cutters for other companies that work in wood. One of there biggest jobs is to make cutters for whiskey barrels.

Nathan our oldest is a kindergarten. He goes to school like all the rest of the kids from 9-3 like a long day, but he is loving it and is learning lots. And is having lots of fun too. He is very happy when he comes home from school and has been on green all day (meaning the teacher has had no problems with him) and as long as he stops kissing all the girls we will be fine.

Benjamin is loving life as long as he does not have to smile. He likes being the big brother at hoem to Cody when Nathan is at school. He likes to help to the laundry and likes to read too. We are all very happy that he is pottie trained and just is BENJAMIN.

Cody is my 5month old. He was born on Jume 21 2008. He is the smile bug in our family. He is very cute and has reacently learned to roll over. Very cool.

Well Dinner is calling thats all for now!!!!!!
